'OMEN' — Hair-Embedded Translucent Snake Skin Latex

Developed through Janine Grosche’s ongoing material research, this translucent snake-skin latex incorporates strands of black hair directly into the material. Handmade from natural liquid latex, the embedded hair becomes part of the skin itself, shifting between surface treatment, artificial fur and bodily extension. Applied to sculptural wearable forms, the material explores the boundary between skin, hair, garment and object.
