1. Scope
These General Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, commissions, and agreements made through this website and between Janine Grosche / PATH and the customer.
By purchasing products or commissioning works through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

3. Nature of the Work
PATH is an artistic and material practice by Janine Grosche focused on handcrafted wearable objects, translucent latex skins, and experimental material processes.
All works are produced by hand in limited quantities using artisanal and self-developed techniques. Due to the handmade and experimental nature of the materials, variations in translucency, texture, colour, surface, and form are inherent to the process and do not constitute defects.
Small irregularities and material shifts are considered part of the artistic and physical nature of the work.
4. Material Sensitivity & Care
The materials used in the works are delicate and require careful handling and storage.
Customers are responsible for proper care after delivery. Pieces should be protected from excessive heat, prolonged sunlight exposure, oils, sharp objects, friction, and unsuitable storage conditions.
Janine Grosche / PATH assumes no liability for damages caused by improper handling, wear, storage, or external influences after delivery.
5. Made-to-Order & Custom Works
Many works are produced on a made-to-order or made-to-measure basis.
Production begins only after payment has been received.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements where required.
Due to the personalised and handcrafted nature of these works, made-to-order, custom-sized, and personalised items are excluded from cancellation, exchange, and return rights in accordance with §312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB.
All sales of custom works are final.
6. Prices & Payment
All prices shown on this website are final prices.
In accordance with §19 UStG, no VAT is charged.
Shipping costs are calculated separately during checkout unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due immediately upon purchase using the payment methods provided on the website.
7. Shipping & Delivery
All works are made to order. Please allow up to 20 working days for the processing and production of your order prior to shipment.
International shipping is available unless otherwise specified.
Production and delivery times may vary depending on workload, production complexity, destination country, and customs processes.
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges imposed by the destination country.
Janine Grosche / PATH is not liable for shipping delays caused by postal services, customs procedures, or force majeure.
8. Right of Withdrawal
For non-custom works, customers within the European Union may have a statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable law.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
made-to-order works
made-to-measure garments
personalised items
works produced specifically upon request
in accordance with §312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB.
9. Warranty & Liability
Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
Liability for damages is limited to cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
No liability is assumed for damages resulting from improper handling, material misuse, allergic reactions, natural material ageing, or external influences occurring after delivery.
Due to the experimental and artisanal nature of the materials, natural shifts in surface, translucency, elasticity, or colour over time may occur and are not considered defects.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, material developments, images, texts, and content published on this website remain the intellectual property of Janine Grosche / PATH.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.
By using this website and placing an order, customers agree to the processing of their data within the scope of applicable data protection laws.
12. Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
If legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is the registered location of Janine Grosche.
