Skin Dress I is part of Janine Grosche’s ongoing OMEN series and material research into translucent latex skins. Developed from natural liquid latex, the thin, flexible membrane closely follows the body while allowing the body beneath to remain visible.

The work explores the relationship between skin and garment, using translucency and surface to shift the boundary between the body and what surrounds it.
