Sculpted Corset Skin Jacket I is developed through Janine Grosche’s ongoing material research into ‘latex leather’, a reinforced form of natural liquid latex that retains the thinness and translucency of a skin while gaining greater structural strength. Using internal boning and corsetry construction, the material becomes self-supporting, allowing the garment to sculpt and extend the silhouette beyond the body.
